Instrument Cluster Does Not Power Down When Ignition Switch Is In Start Position

Check for open in circuit No. 806 (Purple wire) between instrument cluster Orange 32-pin connector C2, terminal F2 and instrument panel fuse block. See Figure . Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If circuit is okay, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
