Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCS)

NOTE:
DTCs cannot be cleared by disconnecting EBCM/EBTCM or negative battery cable, or by turning ignition off. DTCs will be erased when ignition is cycled 100 times without fault reappearing. Ignition cycle counter in EBCM/EBTCM will be reset to zero.
- Connect Tech 1 scan tool. See USING TECH 1 SCAN TOOL . Before clearing DTCs, check and note current DTC data. Select ABS/TCS function. Select DTC(S) function and then CLEAR CODES function.
- Verify DTCs are cleared. If other DTCs are displayed, either DTCs were not cleared or ABS/TCS fault still exists. Diagnose fault and repeat procedure.
