Proportioning Valve: Removal

Remove battery tray. Drain cooling system. Remove upper radiator hose. Disconnect electrical connections at ABS hydraulic unit. Remove brakelines to ABS hydraulic unit. Sliding hydraulic unit toward rear of vehicle and remove. Remove brake proportioning valve from ABS hydraulic unit and discard gasket.
