Removal & Installation (LeSabre)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove sound insulators and instrument panel lower trim pad. Remove rubber collar from steering column. See Fig 1 . Remove gear selector clip from steering column. Remove 4 bolts from IPC and pull IPC straight out. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to 14 INCH lbs. (1.5 N.m).
