Door Ajar Indicator Inaccurate

  1. Disconnect left front door lock assembly electrical connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between harness connector terminal "B" (Gray/Black wire) and ground. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check Gray/Black wire for an open or short to ground. If wire is okay, replace IPC.
  2. Measure voltage between harness connector terminals "B" (Gray/Black wire) and "D" (Black wire). If battery voltage is not present, check Black wire for an open circuit. If battery voltage is present, check left front door lock assembly switch and connectors. Replace as necessary.
