DIC Segments Inoperative or Erratic

Turn ignition on. Using Tech 1 scan tester, select DIC-IPC SEGMENT TEST. Command all segments on. If DIC display segments light for about 3 seconds, see IPC POWER & GROUND TEST . If DIC display segments do not light for about 3 seconds, check IPC connectors C1 and C2 for good terminal contact. If terminal contact is okay, replace IPC.
