Indicator Always On Test
- Check oil level and pressure with a mechanical gauge. If oil level and pressure are not okay, make necessary mechanical repairs. If oil level and pressure are okay, turn ignition on.
- Disconnect oil pressure switch connector. If indicator goes off, replace oil pressure switch. If indicator is still on, check Tan wire for a short to ground. If Tan wire is okay, check instrument cluster printed circuit for a short to ground. If printed circuit is okay, replace instrument cluster.
