Engine Hot, No Indicator Light Test

  1. Disconnect coolant temperature switch connector. Connect a jumper wire between Dark Green wire and ground.
  2. Turn ignition on, and observe indicator. If indicator lights, replace the coolant temperature switch. If indicator does not light, checkDark Green wire for an open circuit. If wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.
