Service Engine Soon Indicator

The SERVICE ENGINE SOON indicator is mounted in the instrument cluster. The light comes on as engine is started and remains on a short time after engine is started. If light comes on while vehicle is driven, the POWERTRAIN Control Module (PCM) or emission control system may require service. The light is controlled by PCM.
