Fuel Gauge
Circuit consists of an electrically operated indicator in instrument cluster and a fuel tank pick-up/sending unit. Gauge indicates quantity of fuel in tank when ignition switch is in RUN position. When ignition is in the OFF, START, LOCK or ACC position, pointer may come to rest at any position. A sending unit in the fuel tank changes resistance with fuel level. Resistance range of sending unit is approximately zero ohms (when tank is empty) to 90 ohms (when tank is full).
