Brake System Warning Indicator

The BRAKE system warning indicator comes on when brake hydraulic pressure is lost. As ignition switch is turned slowly past RUN position, BRAKE indicator should come on before ignition switch reaches START position. With ignition switch in RUN position and parking brake engaged, BRAKE indicator should come on.
