CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery.
The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) provides digital display for speedometer, odometer, engine RPM, trip odometer and transaxle range. See Fig 1 . An optional Cathode Ray Tube/Driver Information Display (CRT/DID) provides warnings and reminders on performance and operation of vehicle. After a delay of one second when ignition is turned on, graphics illuminate, and gauges indicate engine condition.
NOTE:
Electronic instrument cluster is not repairable.
