No Upshifts, Delayed Upshifts or Full Throttle Upshifts

1. Governor or speed sensor:

a. Cover worn.

b. Thrust washer missing.

c. Governor seal worn or cut.

d. Governor spring not seated.

e. Governor weights binding on pin.

f. Ball missing.

g. Governor driven gear stripped.

2. Intermediate servo:

a. Wrong or sticking apply pin.

b. Seals cut, damaged or missing.

c. Porosity in case servo bore.

3. Control valve assembly:

a. Valves sticking.

b. Spacer plate gaskets leaking or incorrectly installed.

4. Valve body spacer:

a. Governor feed orifice to 1-2 and 2-3 shift valve plugged.

b. Drive to governor orifice plugged.

5. Burned or worn intermediate band.

6. Case cover:

a. Porosity.

b. Undrilled holes.

c. Missing cup plugs.

d. Second oil passage leaking.

7. Leaks in governor passage and/or pipe.
