1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove ignition lock as described under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY COMPONENTS/STEERING/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT REPAIR PROCEDURES/IGNITION LOCK.
3. Refer to Figs. 17 and 18 to remove ignition and dimmer switches.
4. Reverse procedure to install. To adjust dimmer switch, depress switch slightly and install a 3/32 inch twist drill to lock the switch to the body, Figs. 17 and 18. Force switch upward to remove lash between switch and pivot, then tighten retaining screws.
