Instrument Panel Lights

Voltage is applied through fuse to the headlight/park light switch at all times. With the light switch on, current flows through the light switch, panel/interior light control fuse, and instrument panel lights to ground.

The instrument panel lights can be dimmed using rheostat built into switch. When light switch is turned counterclockwise, rheostat's resistance increases, current flow decreases and instrument lights dim.
