Brake Booster - POWERMASTER: Reassembly

  1. With Powermaster in vise, assemble new spring and poppet in body. Assemble new valve seat and seal in body. Bottom out valve seat and seal by threading nut of tube and nut assembly into body port.
  2. Remove Powermaster from vise. Place grommets into body and make sure they are properly seated. Insert reservoir. Install secondary piston spring into body. Install secondary piston seal, primary seal and spring retainer on secondary piston. Install secondary piston assembly into body.
  3. Install primary piston assembly into body. Assemble reaction piston and new reaction disc in reaction body group. Install 2 "O" rings on power piston assembly. Install reaction body group in power piston assembly.
  4. Install power piston assembly in body. Install an "O" ring on piston guide and an "O" ring in piston guide. Install piston guide in body over power piston. Install retainer while depressing piston guide and power piston.
  5. Install boot, push rod, socket group, and socket into end of power piston assembly and retain with retainer. Install brackets with bolts. Install sump hose, clamps, and tube and nut assembly.
  6. Install pump and pressure hose assembly. Install accumulator and pressure switch with new "O" rings. Install reservoir cover and diaphragm.
