Removal (Firenza)
- Remove 6 steering column trim cover mount screws from instrument panel. Remove 2 screws mounting trim cover to left hand instrument panel sound insulator. Lower steering column trim cover. See Fig 1 .
- Remove 1 mount screw from instrument panel at right end of left hand trim cover, then remove cover by pulling rearward (cover is retained by clips). See Fig 1 .
- Remove 2 right hand trim cover mount screws from under center trim cover and 4 screws from front of instrument panel compartment. Pull right hand trim cover rearward (cover retained by clips) enough to disconnect necessary electrical connections, then remove trim cover. See Fig 1 .
- Detach 4 center trim cover mount screws from right hand trim cover, then remove center trim cover. To remove cluster trim cover, first remove left and right hand trim covers, then detach 7 cluster trim cover mount screws from instrument panel pad. Pull left hand trim cover rearward to remove (out of spring clips).
