Removal (Cutlass)
- To remove left and/or right hand trim covers and right hand instrument panel moulding, pull outward and to the rear (covers and moulding are retained by clips). See Fig 1 .
- Remove 7 screws attaching instrument panel cluster pad assembly to panel adapter. Pull pad assembly away from panel adapter to remove. Detach 6 screws attaching instrument cluster bezel to pad assembly, then remove bezel. Remove cigar lighter. Pull outward to remove instrument panel lower trim cover (cover is retained by clips).
- To remove steering column trim cover, detach 4 screws and lower panel. If equipped with air conditioning, disconnect flexible air hose from trim cover. If not equipped with air conditioning, detach clips and remove vent cables from trim cover. See Fig 1 .
