Removal & Installation (All Models)
- Disconnect battery negative cable. On 88 and 98 models, remove steering column (center) trim cover. On Calais models, remove steering column collar, steering column opening filler and cluster trim cover.
- On Ciera models, remove steering column collar and accessory trim cover. On Cutlass models, remove cluster pad assembly. On Firenza models, remove left hand trim cover.
- On all models, remove mount screw(s) attaching headlight switch to cluster carrier or instrument panel. Remove wiring connector(s) or fiber optic lead, then pull switch rearward to remove from panel. See Fig 1 . To install headlight switch, reverse removal procedure.
