Instrument Panel Lights

Voltage is applied through fuse to headlight/park light switch at all times. With light switch is on, current flows through light switch, panel/interior light control, fuse and instrument panel lights, to the ground.

The instrument panel lights can be dimmed using rheostat built into switch. When light switch is turned counterclockwise, rheostat's resistance increases, current flow decreases and instrument lights dim.
