Cylinder Head: Installation

Clean gasket surfaces. Install head gasket onto dowel pins. Install cylinder head over dowel pins and gasket. Dip head bolts in oil and install. Tighten bolts before installing rocker arms and pivots if clearance problem is encountered. Tighten head bolts in 2 steps in sequence shown. See Fig 1. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
