Diagnosis Procedure

Check the license plate lamp bulb.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

NO

Replace the corresponding license plate lamp. Refer to Removal and Installation .

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and license plate lamp connector.
3. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and license plate lamp harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

Check continuity between license plate lamp harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO

Repair or replace harness.
