Diagnosis Procedure

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Turn lighting switch OFF.
3. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and front combination lamp LH connector.
4. Check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

   IPDM E/R		--	Voltage (Approx.)
   Connector	Terminal
   E44	59	Ground	0 V

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

CONSULT

1. Connect IPDM E/R connector.
2. Ignition switch ON.
3. Turn lighting switch 2ND.
4. Select "HEADLAMP (HI)" in "Active Test" mode of "IPDM E/R".
5. With operating the test items, check the voltage between front combination lamp LH harness connector and ground.

   +		-	Test item		Voltage (Approx.)
   Front combination lamp LH
   Connector	Terminal
   E37	8	Ground	HEADLAMP (HI)	On	Battery voltage
   				Off	0 V

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

GO TO 4.

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Turn lighting switch OFF.
3. Check continuity between front combination lamp LH harness connector and ground.

   Front combination lamp LH		--	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   E37	8	Ground	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Turn lighting switch OFF.
3. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
4. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and front combination lamp LH harness connector.

   IPDM E/R		Front combination lamp LH		Continuity
   Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
   E44	59	E37	8	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

Repair or replace harness.

Check the headlamp (HI) LH. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

NO

Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
