Diagnosis Procedure

Both side headlamps (LO) are not turned ON in any condition.

1. COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION 

   Check combination switch. Refer to Symptom Table .

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   GO TO 2.

   NO

   Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.

2. CHECK LOW BEAM REQUEST SIGNAL 

   CONSULT

   1. Select "Low beam request" in "Data Monitor" mode of "IPDM E/R".
   2. With operating the lighting switch, check the monitor status.

      Monitor item	Condition		Monitor status
      Low beam request	Lighting switch	2ND	On
      		OFF	Off

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation .

   NO

   Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .
