DTC Detection Logic

This malfunction is detected when the A/T does not lock-up. This is not only caused by electrical malfunction (circuits open or shorted) but also by mechanical malfunction such as control valve sticking, improper solenoid valve operation, etc.

P0744	TORQUE CONVERTER (Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Intermittent)	Diagnosis condition	When all of the following conditions are satisfied: Vehicle is applying the slip lock-up condition. Selector lever: D Vehicle speed: 10 km/h (7 MPH) or more Engine speed: 150 rpm or more Accelerator pedal position: 1.0/8 or more
		Signal	--
		Threshold	The lock-up is not performed in spite of within the lock-up area
		Diagnosis delay time	Maintained for 10 seconds or more
