DTC detection condition

P0742

TORQUE CONVERTER

(Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stuck On)

Diagnosis condition

• When all of the following conditions are satisfied:
  • Selector lever: D (Except for manual mode)
  • Accelerator pedal position: 1.23/8 or more
  • Engine speed: More than 450 rpm
  • Output shaft revolution by output speed sensor: More than 300 rpm and 1797 or less
• Lock-up command pressure: -100 kPa (-1.02 kgf/cm ² , -14.5 psi) or less and this state is maintained for 1 second or more
• TC SLIP SPEED (the revolution difference between input speed and engine speed.): 100 rpm or more and this state is maintained for 1.5 seconds or more

The lock-up is not released in spite of out of the lock-up area.

(Differences between engine speed and input speed: 25 rpm or less)

Maintained for 5 seconds or more
