DTC Confirmation Procedure

- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC P0059 is displayed with DTC P0051, P0052 or P0150, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC P0051, P0052 or P0150.
Is applicable DTC detected?
YES
Perform diagnosis of applicable.
- P0051: Refer to DTC Description .
- P0052: Refer to DTC Description .
- P0150: Refer to DTC Description .
NO
GO TO 2.
- PRECONDITIONING
When DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following before conducting the next test.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
TEST CONDITION:
Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is between 10 V and 16 V at idle.
GO TO 3.
- PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- Start the engine and warm it up until the engine coolant temperature reaches 25 deg.C (77 deg.F) or more.
- Keep the engine at idle at least 35 seconds.
- Check 1st trip DTC.
Is DTC P0059 detected?
YES
Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .
NO
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .
NO
Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
