Removal and Installation of Drive Belt Auto-tensioner: Removal

CAUTION: The complete drive belt auto-tensioner must be replaced as a unit, including the pulley.
  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the drive belt auto-tensioner.
    3. CAUTION: Do not loosen the drive belt auto-tensioner pulley bolt. (Do not turn it counterclockwise. If turned counterclockwise, the complete drive belt auto-tensioner must be replaced as a unit, including pulley).
