Component Inspection

CHECK ASCD STEERING SWITCH

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector.

Check resistance between combination switch harness connector terminals as per the following.

M149	15 and 18	MAIN switch: Pressed	Approx. 0
		CANCEL switch: Pressed	Approx. 250
		SET/- switch: Pressed	Approx. 660
		RES/+ switch: Pressed	Approx. 1, 490
		All ASCD steering switches: Released	Approx. 3, 980

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

Replace ASCD steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
