Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK FRONT BLOWER MOTOR RELAY CONTROL SIGNAL VOLTAGE 
    1. Remove front blower motor relay.
    2. Check voltage between front blower motor relay connector J-4 and ground.

      Battery voltage

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 3

    NO

    GO TO 2

  2. CHECK FRONT BLOWER MOTOR RELAY CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BCM connector M20.
    3. Check continuity between BCM connector M20 and front blower motor relay connector J-4.

      Yes

    4. Check continuity between BCM connector M20 and ground.

      No

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Repair or replace harness or connectors.

  3. CHECK FRONT BLOWER MOTOR RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Check continuity between front blower motor relay connector J-4 and ground.

    Yes

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace front blower motor relay.

    NO

    Repair or replace harness or connectors.
