Diagnosis Procedure

- PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" of "IPDM E/R" using CONSULT.
Is display history of DTC B20A6 CRNT?
YES
GO TO 2 .
NO
Refer to Intermittent Incident .
- CHECK FUEL PUMP CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connector E18.
- Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector E18 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
GO TO 3 .
- CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT AND FUEL PUMP FOR SHORT TO GROUND
- Disconnect fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump connector B42.
- Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector E18 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
Repair or replace harness or connectors.
