Diagnosis Procedure

  1. PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT 

    Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" of "IPDM E/R" using CONSULT.

    Is display history of DTC B20A3 CRNT?

    YES

    GO TO 2 .

    NO

    Refer to Intermittent Incident .

  2. CHECK ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO VOLTAGE 
    1. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector F50 and ECM connector F13.
    2. Check voltage between IPDM E/R connector F50 and ground.

    Ignition switch: OFF

    0V

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Repair or replace harness or connectors.
