Diagnosis Procedure

PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" of "IPDM E/R" using CONSULT.

Is display history of DTC B20A2 CRNT?

YES

GO TO 2 .

NO

Refer to Intermittent Incident .

CHECK O2 SENSOR #1 CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND

Disconnect IPDM E/R connector F50.

Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector F50 and ground.

IPDM E/R		Ground	Continuity
Connector	Terminal
F50	53	-	No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3 .

Repair or replace harness, connectors or malfunctioning components.

CHECK O2 SENSOR #2 CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND

Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector F50 and ground.

IPDM E/R		Ground	Continuity
Connector	Terminal
F50	52	-	No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4 .

Repair or replace harness, connectors or malfunctioning components.

CHECK ENGINE SOLENOID CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND

Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector F50 and ground.

IPDM E/R		Ground	Continuity
Connector	Terminal
F50	59	-	No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5 .

Repair or replace harness, connectors or malfunctioning components.

CHECK ECM BATTERY CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND

Disconnect IPDM E/R connector E18.

Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector E18 and ground.

IPDM E/R		Ground	Continuity
Connector	Terminal
E18	13	-	No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace harness, connectors or malfunctioning components.
