Diagnosis Procedure

  1. TCU ACTIVATION OPERATION 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    Register the TCU. Refer to Description .

    Does telematics system operate?

    YES

    Inspection End.

    NO

    GO TO 2 .

  2. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM".
    2. Erase DTC.
    3. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE for DTC B219B. Refer to DTC Description .

    Is DTC B219B detected?

    YES

    GO TO 3 .

    NO

    Inspection End.

  3. REPLACE TCU 
    1. Replace TCU. Refer to Removal and Installation .
    2. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE for DTC B219B. Refer to DTC Description .

    Is DTC B219B detected?

    YES

    GO TO 4 .

    NO

    Inspection End.

  4. REPLACE BCM 

    Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    Inspection End.
