Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK PRE-CRASH SEAT BELT CONTROL UNIT LH OUTPUT SIGNAL

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect seat belt buckle switch LH harness connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between seat belt buckle switch LH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

GO TO 2.

CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH LH CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect pre-crash seat belt control unit LH harness connector.

Check continuity between pre-crash seat belt control unit LH harness connector and seat belt buckle switch LH harness connector.

Check continuity between pre-crash seat belt control unit LH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace pre-crash seat belt control unit LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH LH GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between seat belt buckle switch LH and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH LH
Check seat belt buckle switch LH. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

NO

Replace seat belt buckle switch LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
