Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL ACTUATOR VISUALLY

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Remove air duct and resonator assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER AND AIR DUCT .

Check if foreign matter is caught between the throttle valve and the housing.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace malfunctioning electric throttle control actuator. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COLLECTOR .

Remove the foreign matter and clean the electric throttle control actuator inside.
Perform throttle valve closed position leaning. Refer to Description .
