Steering System (Circuit Diagnosis)

  1. CHECK TILT SWITCH SIGNAL 
    1. Disconnect ADP steering switch (tilt switch).
    2. Check voltage between ADP steering switch harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 3.

    NO

    GO TO 2.

  2. CHECK TILT SWITCH CIRCUIT 
    1. Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit.
    2. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and ADP steering switch harness connector.

    3. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace automatic drive positioner unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK TILT SWITCH 

    Refer to Component Inspection .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 4.

    NO

    Replace ADP steering switch (tilt switch). Refer to Removal and Installation .

  4. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT 

    Refer to Intermittent Incident .

    Inspection End.
