Steering System (Circuit Diagnosis)

- CHECK TELESCOPIC MOTOR POWER SUPPLY
CONSULT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect telescopic motor.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Select "TELESCO MOTOR" in "ACTIVE TEST" mode of "AUTO DRIVE POS".
- Check voltage between telescopic motor harness connector and ground.

YES
Replace telescopic motor. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
GO TO 2.
- CHECK TELESCOPIC MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit.
- Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and telescopic motor harness connector.
