Diagnosis Procedure

  1. ADJUST NEUTRAL POSITION OF STEERING ANGLE SENSOR 

    Adjust the steering angle sensor neutral position. Refer to Work Procedure (Without ICC) or Work Procedure (With ICC).

    NOTE: When U1232 is detected, adjust the predictive course line center position of the steering angle sensor.

    GO TO 2 .

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
    3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
    4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "MULTI AV".
    5. Check DTC.

    Is DTC U1232 detected again?

    YES

    Replace steering angle sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation (Without ICC) or Removal and Installation (With ICC).

    NO

    Inspection End.
