Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULT OF ECM
With CONSULT

Check "Self Diagnostic Result" of "ENGINE" using CONSULT.

Are any DTCs displayed?

YES

Perform trouble diagnosis for detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index .

NO

GO TO 2 .

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY BETWEEN BOSE SPEAKER AMP. AND ECM

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BOSE speaker amp. connector B149 and ECM harness connector E10.

Check the continuity between BOSE speaker amp. connector B149 and ECM connector E10.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3 .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY BETWEEN BOSE SPEAKER AMP. AND GROUND

Check the continuity between BOSE speaker amp. connector B149 and ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4 .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK VOLTAGE BETWEEN BOSE SPEAKER AMP. AND GROUND

Check the voltage between BOSE speaker amp. connector B149 and ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

Replace BOSE speaker amp. Refer to Removal and Installation .
