Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove back door finishers (upper, lower and side). Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the rear spoiler. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Disconnect the harness connectors from back door window glass defogger.
- Remove the rear wiper arm. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove back door glass (1) using a suitable tool (3).
(2): Back door assembly
- Apply protective tape around the back door window glass to protect the painted surface from damage.
- If the back door window glass is to be reused, mark the body and the glass with matching marks.
WARNING: When cutting the back door window glass from the vehicle, always wear safety glasses and heavy gloves to help prevent glass splinters from entering your eyes or cutting your hands.CAUTION:- Be careful not to scratch the back door window glass when removing.
- Do not set or stand glass on its edge. Small chips may develop into cracks.
- Apply a protective tape around the back door window glass to protect the painted surface from damage.
- Use an inflatable pump bag (3) to assist with removing the back door window glass (2).

- Remove the back door window glass (1) from the back door assembly (2).
