Diagnosis Procedure

The system setting cannot be turned ON/OFF in the combination meter information display using the steering switch.
- CHECK BACK-UP COLLISION INTERVENTION SYSTEM SETTING
- Start the engine.
- Check that the Backup Collision Intervention system setting can be turned ON/OFF in the combination meter information display using the steering switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
INSPECTION END
NO
GO TO 2.
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH CIRCUIT
Check the steering switch. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Repair or replace harness or connector.
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check the steering switch resistance. Refer to Component Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
Replace steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
