Removal and Installation: Installation

Install distance sensor bracket and distance sensor bracket bolts finger-tight (if necessary).

Tighten distance sensor bracket bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown, below.

Distance sensor bracket bolts

: 10.0 N.m (1.0 kg-m, 7 ft-lb)

Install distance sensor and distance sensor nuts finger-tight.

Tighten distance sensor nuts to the specified torque in the sequence shown, below.

Distance sensor bolts

: 5.5 N.m (0.56 kg-m, 49 in-lb)

Installation of the remaining components is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

Always perform distance sensor alignment and check operation after removal, installation or replacement of distance sensor. Refer to Description .

Do not drop or shock distance sensor.

Make sure distance sensor harness is installed without any twists.
