Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Close glass lid.
  2. Remove the headlining. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Disconnect drain hoses. Refer to Inspection  for location of hoses.
  4. Disconnect the harness connector from moonroof motor assembly.
  5. Remove nuts (A) and moonroof unit assembly (3) from roof assembly (2) studs (1).

  6. Remove bolts on the front end and side rails of the moonroof unit assembly.

  7. Remove rear moonroof side bracket bolts and remove moonroof unit assembly.
  8. Remove moonroof unit assembly through the passenger compartment opening.
    CAUTION: Use care not to damage the seats and trim.
