Around View Monitor System (DTC/Circuit Diagnosis)

CHECK CONTINUITY OF REAR VIEW CAMERA POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect around view monitor control unit connector M97 and rear view camera connector D511.

Check continuity between around view monitor control unit connector M97 and rear view camera connector D511.

Check continuity between around view monitor control unit connector M97 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK VOLTAGE OF REAR VIEW CAMERA POWER SUPPLY

Connect around view monitor control unit connector M97 and rear view camera connector D511.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between around view monitor control unit connector M97 and ground.

M97	50	Ground	"CAMERA" switch is ON or shift position is "R".	6.0 V

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

CHECK CONTINUITY OF REAR VIEW CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect around view monitor control unit connector M97 and rear view camera connector D511.

Check continuity between around view monitor control unit connector M97 and rear view camera connector D511.

Check continuity between around view monitor control unit harness connector M97 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK REAR VIEW CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL

Connect around view monitor control unit connector M97 and rear view camera connector D511.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check signal between around view monitor control unit connector M97.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Replace rear view camera. Refer to Removal and Installation .
