Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DISK EJECT SIGNAL

Turn ignition switch ON.

Check the voltage between AV control unit harness connector terminals.

			Except for above	Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

GO TO 2.

CHECK DISK EJECT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect AV control unit harness connector and multifunction switch harness connector.

Check the continuity between AV control unit harness connector and multifunction switch harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK DISK EJECT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

Check the continuity between AV control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK DISK EJECT SIGNAL GROUND CIRCUIT

Check the continuity between AV control unit harness connector and multifunction switch harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace multifunction switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
