Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK AROUND VIDEO DISTRIBUTOR 

    Visually check around video distributor for a cause of high temperature.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    Replace video distributor. Refer to Removal and Installation .

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
    3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
    4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "MULTI AV" using CONSULT.
    5. Check DTC.

    Is DTC U12C6 detected?

    YES

    Replace video distributor. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Inspection End.
