Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK MOOD LAMP POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the BCM connector.
Disconnect mood lamp connectors.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and mood lamp harness connectors.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2 .

Repair or replace harnesses.

CHECK MOOD LAMP CONTROL CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch ON.
Check voltage between combination meter harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3 .

Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .

CHECK MOOD LAMP OPEN CIRCUIT

Disconnect combination meter connector.
Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and mood lamp (instrument panel LH outer/LH inner/RH), mood lamp (front door armrest LH/RH).

YES

Mood lamp (instrument panel): Replace mood lamp (instrument panel). Refer to Removal and Installation .

YES

Mood lamp (front door armrest): Replace mood lamp (front door armrest). Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace harnesses.
