Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove rear side of front room/map lamp assembly first or damage may occur.
  1. Remove front room/map lamp assembly using the following procedure.
    1. Using suitable tool (C) release metal clips at front edge of the front room/map lamp assembly (1).

      CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove rear edge of front room/map lamp assembly first or damage may occur.

      (A)

      : Left side

      (B)

      : Right side

      SYMBOL

      : Metal clip
    2. Lower front edge of front room/map lamp assembly (1) in direction shown (SYMBOL ).

    3. Slide front room/map lamp assembly (1) forward in direction shown (SYMBOL ) to release rear pawls.

      : Pawl
    4. Disconnect the harness connectors from the front room/map lamp assembly and remove front room/map lamp assembly.
