Work Procedure (Before Replacing ECM)

When replacing ECM, perform "SAVING DATA FOR REPLC CPU" in "Work support" of "ENGINE" using CONSULT to save current ECM data before replacement.

SAVE ECM DATA
With CONSULT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Reconnect all harness connectors disconnected.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. On CONSULT screen, select "ENGINE">>"Work support">>"SAVING DATA FOR REPLC CPU".
5. Follow the instruction of CONSULT display.
NOTE:
- Necessary data in ECM is copied and saved to CONSULT.
- Go to Step 2 regardless of with or without success in saving data.
GO TO 2.
SAVE 'OPERATION LOG'
With CONSULT

Save Operation Log, according to the procedure of "Programming" in CONSULT Operation Manual.

NOTE: ECM part number is saved in Operating Log saved in CONSULT.
- Replace ECM.
- After replacing ECM, perform necessary work.
